WHAT WARD 3 IS TELLING ME

I didn't write this platform in an office. I wrote it after listening: at the door, at the arena, in line at the grocery store, and in the same Facebook groups and community chats where Ward 3 says what it really thinks.

• Taxes and water bills climbing together, faster than the services they're supposed to pay for.
• Growth approved before the infrastructure (roads, drainage, schools) is ready to support it.
• Years of construction with no real end in sight, and drainage and culvert problems that flood the same streets every spring.
• More traffic, more speeding, and more e-scooters weaving through streets with no rules being enforced.
• A quiet sense that safety is slipping while attention (and money) goes to the waterfront.
• The small-town feel people moved here for, disappearing one rezoning at a time.
• Nowhere affordable for a small business to open, so we get another chain pharmacy or dentist instead of a local shop owner taking a chance on Ward 3.
• Residents showing up to public meetings and still feeling like the decision was already made.

None of that is a talking point. It's what Ward 3 is telling me, and it's why this platform is built around fixing what's actually broken, not just what photographs well.
